you ate rice cereal.

And you actually enjoyed it this time, kinda. I tried feeding you rice cereal a few days ago and you hated it. Then I tried peas and you hated them too. So, today I decided to try rice again. You actually smiled and would open your mouth for the spoon. We also didn't have quite the mess that we had the first two attempts.

You also rode in the big kid stroller at day care. They have this huge red stroller that holds six kids. Its the craziest looking stroller. When I got to school to get you they were rolling you and two other girls around the halls. Miss Britt said you love to go for walks and especially outside. It was so great to see you looking like a big girl and having a great time in the stroller. I can hardly believe how big you are getting. I'm afraid I'll miss something if I blink.

Are you ready to try peas again tomorrow?

fussed, all day long!!!

A few days ago I decided that I was going to go shopping in Ellenton and leave you with your Daddy for the morning.

So today we got up and I fed you and you fussed. You didn't want me to put you down at all. So I decided you might still be hungry so I fed you more. Then I handed you off to your Daddy so I could shower. You still fussed. So we put you in your swing and after a few minutes you finally fell asleep. I left for Ellenton. Every Saturday your Daddy has a 9-12 social at Panera. So, he woke you up, packed you up and took you to breakfast where you fussed some more. I came home around 1 and Daddy said the only way he could keep you happy was to hold you. He even cleaned the carpets while holding you.

At this point we need to get going for baseball. We feed you again and you seem to be okay so we head out. You sleep the entire way to the game and you even fall asleep on the walk in to the Trop. Once we get settled its time to feed you again. (Yes, we feed you a lot.) Within just a few minutes you are sound asleep in my arms. So asleep that you barely stir when the crowd gets loud. Then...you wake up and vomit...everywhere. It was soooo gross! After a few minutes you vomit again. Yep, twice! I decide to go try to clean you up and change your diaper and you seem ok. We sit down and you vomit again! Daddy and I quickly decide that you might be hot and we move to the lower level. It’s no better you get sick again. This is the final straw and we decide to leave. (The Rays are tied.)

Once in the car you fuss for a little while and then fall asleep. We got home and you have a chocking episode. You used to have these all the time before the Zantac. After getting you settled I give you a bath and then a small bottle. You guessed it...you fussed more. I make more formula and you suck it down. Finally, you look tired. This time I didn't even read you a book. I just put you down with bobo and you fell asleep in minutes.

Should I even ask about tomorrow???

you played.

When I got home today I decided that I needed to build your highchair since we will be starting solids soon. You normally just sit in your orange chair and look around but today I added the toy tray and you loved it!! You sat next to me and spun the rattle around and around while I built half your highchair. Then...you decided you were hungry so I stopped to feed you. We didn't test the chair because your Daddy was also hungry.

You let your Daddy put you to bed all by himself. He didn't give you a bath but I was pretty happy that he got you changed, fed and asleep before I was back from picking up dinner at Beefs.

Are you ready for tomorrow?

launched vomit all over me...

the floor, and the couch...twice!

Yep! You seem to be having some issues with your formula lately. The daycare had mentioned that you were vomiting more. I thought it was because I stupidly stopped your Zantac. I started that back up on Monday and no change. This morning you spit up a decent amount of your bottle. Then tonight you did it again.

We will be changing your formula on Sunday. I need to finish out this can and I want to have you home all day to make sure you don't react badly to the change.

Lets hope tomorrow is better!

you went to your 10th Rays game.

At the beginning of the season you had a winning record. At the start of the season the Rays would come back to win a game if you were in attendance. Lately you haven't been doing so well.

You do great at the games, most of the time you just sit and watch the people or sleep in your Daddy's arms. We have several season ticket holders who sit around us and they all love seeing you. They can't believe how fast you are growing. I can't believe that one year ago I was pregnant and didn't know it yet. Boy, how time flies.

Just so you know...The Rays lost tonight.

How will you amaze me tomorrow?

you turned 4 months.

Today was a busy day. You started by getting to spend some extra time with Daddy while I went to the dentist. When I came home you were sitting on his lap in front of the fish tank watching the fish again.

At 10:45am we went to the pediatrician for your 4 month shots. You measured 23 1/4 inches, weighed 12 lbs 8 oz, and your head measured 16 inches. You're still pretty small but growing so we have no concerns. I was also given the go ahead to start you on solids. I think I've decided we will wait until the weekend since I'm not quite ready for the mess.

After your doctor’s appointment we went to visit with your Granny, Great Granny and your Great Aunt Patricia. Everyone at Panera loved looking at you and your cuteness.

Then we drove over to visit your Daddy at work. He had told me earlier that he was super hungry so we took him a few treats from Panera.

You didn't get a lot of nap time today so I put you to bed early.

discovered the fish tank and puked a lot.

First, we'll talk about the puke. For the last two months you have been getting Zantac twice a day because you have heartburn. Well, I decided that I would try stopping it to see if we could take you off permanently. Well, let’s just say it didn't work too well. Daycare said that you puked several times. I can confirm this since you had on completely different clothes and bib.

Now the fish...On Monday's your Daddy goes to a 9-12 meeting. But, today the meeting was cancelled due to some bad storms. While I was getting a bottle ready, he took you over to the fish tank. You were mesmerized by the fish. I came over for a minute and you could barely take your eyes off the tank to look at me.

So what do you have planned for tomorrow?

laughed.

I created this blog idea in my head yesterday. I just wasn't sure it would be the right time since you haven't been "doing" much in your short little life. Then, you laughed at your dad today and I knew that I had to start now or we would miss out on recording all the little things you will soon be doing.

So here's what happened - Your grandpa Mike came over to spend the weekend and he told your Daddy that you laughed at him yesterday. Your Daddy just said that you make all kinds of noises and pretty much ignored him. Then today, Father's Day, rolls around and you laughed at your Daddy so clearly! He was sitting on the floor talking to you and playing with you with your spit-up rag. He folds it up to look like a French military hat and sits it on your head while he talks to you in a French accent. You think it is the funniest thing and normally just smile really big. But today, you laughed at him instead. We tried to catch it on tape but you clammed up and just stared at the camera.

I can’t wait to see what you do tomorrow.
