Yep! I dropped you off and barely made it to my desk when I got the call that you had a temp of 101.6. When I got you home an hour later you were down to 100.6. Then at the pedi office a few hours later you were at 99.8. Nothing big, just a little bug according to the nurse.
I gave you your first dose of Tylenol and now you are napping.
I hope you feel better soon.

crawled.
Actually, not really. Daddy and I had you on a blanket on the floor just trying to get you to get up on your hands and knees. You had no interest and protested quite a bit. Then Daddy lifted you up on your feet and you smiled the biggest smile. You absolutely love to stand up. We tried again to get you to crawl and the best we got was you pushing off Daddy's knees and scooting to me then screaming to get off your belly.
I've heard its bad to skip crawling. Something about brain connections and motor skills. I really just want you to move on to something, anything. It's so much fun to see you discover something new.
Are you ready for Daddy to take you to daycare by himself tomorrow?

jumped.
The daycare has been telling me that you love to sit in the jumperoo thingy and bounce while watching the other babies. So a few days ago I decided to use the Wal-Mart gift card from your Grandma and Grandpa Martin to buy you a doorway jumper. It came today and I could hardly wait to get your little bum in the thing. I set it up in our bedroom doorway. You loved it because you could spin around and watch everyone coming and going. Cindy, the scared little cat, doesn't like that you are in the way of her escape route to under our bed and she kept running past you in total panic mode. You love that you are on the same level as Allie. Every time she was in your sight you smiled from ear to ear. I'm sure she will love this thing when you start eating real food. The bouncer has a little tray and she will be able to easily snag food. Daddy seems to like the thing because he can turn on rock music and dance in front of you. He tried it out tonight...you smiled and laughed while he looked slightly crazy.
Any good plans for Saturday?

ate green beans.
You loved green beans! You chased the spoon to get more and then grabbed your bib and sucked on it.
You also made your Daddy and me crack up. Lots of smiles and laughing at us today.
What will tomorrow bring?

celebrated your first 4th of July.
Yesterday we went to your first fireworks show. I was way too tired to write a post. In fact this week and weekend has been quite busy so I haven't been able to write every day.
Your Grandma and Aunts came to visit for the next two weeks. They are a bundle of energy and craziness.
Today was a lazy day around the house. We napped in the morning and then everyone came over for burgers and brownie sundaes. Granny and Grandpa, Grandma and Grandpa Mike, Aunt Rebekkah and Aunt Natalie all came to celebrate America's birthday with us. Like I said earlier we watched fireworks last night. We went out to Temple Terrace and met up with the Duncans and Grays. You did great! You didn't fuss or jump. You just hung out in your Daddy's arms and watched the fireworks light up the night.
What will we do on our day off tomorrow?

you ate rice cereal.
And you actually enjoyed it this time, kinda. I tried feeding you rice cereal a few days ago and you hated it. Then I tried peas and you hated them too. So, today I decided to try rice again. You actually smiled and would open your mouth for the spoon. We also didn't have quite the mess that we had the first two attempts.
You also rode in the big kid stroller at day care. They have this huge red stroller that holds six kids. Its the craziest looking stroller. When I got to school to get you they were rolling you and two other girls around the halls. Miss Britt said you love to go for walks and especially outside. It was so great to see you looking like a big girl and having a great time in the stroller. I can hardly believe how big you are getting. I'm afraid I'll miss something if I blink.
Are you ready to try peas again tomorrow?

fussed, all day long!!!
A few days ago I decided that I was going to go shopping in Ellenton and leave you with your Daddy for the morning.
So today we got up and I fed you and you fussed. You didn't want me to put you down at all. So I decided you might still be hungry so I fed you more. Then I handed you off to your Daddy so I could shower. You still fussed. So we put you in your swing and after a few minutes you finally fell asleep. I left for Ellenton. Every Saturday your Daddy has a 9-12 social at Panera. So, he woke you up, packed you up and took you to breakfast where you fussed some more. I came home around 1 and Daddy said the only way he could keep you happy was to hold you. He even cleaned the carpets while holding you.
At this point we need to get going for baseball. We feed you again and you seem to be okay so we head out. You sleep the entire way to the game and you even fall asleep on the walk in to the Trop. Once we get settled its time to feed you again. (Yes, we feed you a lot.) Within just a few minutes you are sound asleep in my arms. So asleep that you barely stir when the crowd gets loud. Then...you wake up and vomit...everywhere. It was soooo gross! After a few minutes you vomit again. Yep, twice! I decide to go try to clean you up and change your diaper and you seem ok. We sit down and you vomit again! Daddy and I quickly decide that you might be hot and we move to the lower level. It’s no better you get sick again. This is the final straw and we decide to leave. (The Rays are tied.)
Once in the car you fuss for a little while and then fall asleep. We got home and you have a chocking episode. You used to have these all the time before the Zantac. After getting you settled I give you a bath and then a small bottle. You guessed it...you fussed more. I make more formula and you suck it down. Finally, you look tired. This time I didn't even read you a book. I just put you down with bobo and you fell asleep in minutes.
Should I even ask about tomorrow???
